Our Mission

At The Center for Cancer Care, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care for our patients while offering state-of-the-art treatment options. Cancer is a complex disease that requires treatment on many levels. Every effort has been made to surround our patients with a compassionate and supportive staff to provide the highest quality care and to assist with the numerous issues that arise with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. We offer a full array of patient care services, including emotional and social support groups, patient education, and nutritional counseling.

Our Services

image descriptionAs a comprehensive community cancer center, our services are first and foremost patient centered. These services are made possible through an interdisciplinary team of professionals who collaborate throughout the entire treatment process for effective cancer management.

In order to alleviate some of the fear and stress of cancer treatment, we designed our offices for warmth and comfort. Our rooms are spacious with the look and feel of home, not a traditional medical facility. And our treatment services are unmatched in the region.

Radiation treatment options offered by CCC include:

  • 3-D Treatment Planning
  • 4-D Treatment Planning
  • Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
  • Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
  • High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy
  • Mammosite
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery

Your Care

The cornerstone of The Center for Cancer Care is our staff. All of the employees have been selected because of their commitment to caring for and serving the patient. Experienced oncology nurses oversee patient care, while skilled radiation therapists assist patients during treatment.

Our social worker helps patients and their families with the coordination of community resources such as the Jeanne Shepherd Foundation and the American Cancer Society’s Transportation Grant, and our dietician offers advice for improving nutrition and increasing calories for those undergoing cancer therapy. Our business office staff helps patients with insurance and financial concerns, while others on the oncology team offer patients the extra support needed to make the transition back to home life.

The Center for Cancer Care is committed to supporting patients in all aspects of their care.
